Before conceiving and designing a product, there is one central question: What should be achieved? As a User Experience Designer, I work at the intersection of business, users, and software development. A project can only succeed when the concerns of all three areas are properly addressed.
Using methods from Design Thinking and User-Centered Design, I define requirements and success criteria, always taking a pragmatic and goal-oriented approach. This ensures early in the project that the product will be accepted by the people who are meant to use it.
The use of artificial intelligence (LLMs) for analyzing and synthesizing data as well as for creating prototypes is a natural part of my work and can significantly shorten project timelines. Human review for accuracy and plausibility is equally essential.
